PS3ZA.co.za membership
I was thinking today about how many PS3s are being sold in South Africa and even more PS3 games being sold. My question is...
Where are all those people? How many people are out there that have a PS3 in the house and play but do not know what is going on in the community nor being able to be part of the activities being organised amongst us as a PS3ZA community. I think there must be lots and lots of these people playing in the "dark" in SA, just because they are unaware of our existence. I suggest that we ask our good friends at SK if it is possible to put a PS3ZA flyer in the PS3 boxes and perhaps even in the game boxes in order to inform the buyers about the online community here and that they should sign up to be part of something great.

I think this would be a great idea... That way all new PS3 owners will have exposure to possibly IMO the biggest and craziest PS3 community around
 ... I have had my PS3 for more than 2 years now and only recently after joining this forum have I been enjoying it to the extent that I have. Everything that you need to know about a PS3 or a game etc... is all found here and if you don't know about something you can always ask and can expect to get the best possible answer or advice... Big up to all the people that make this forum happen

By advertising, PS3ZA we'd get more visitors here, possibly resulting in Take2 getting more visitors, and the advertisers here getting more exposure as well.
I wonder how much it costs to advertise in gaming magazines and whether Take2 thinks it may be worth the cost?

The problem is that many of them dont really play online and wont feel the need to actually join the community.

I doubt we would spend money to advertise PS3ZA. Anyone in SA who use Google and selects SA, who searches for PS3 will get this site as the first search result. The best we hope for is to at least cover the monthly hosting costs for this site. Anything else is a nice bonus.
