Default Credit Card Fraud

Has anyone else experienced this??
Yesterday, I got an sms that funds are reserved for purchase of dunno what.
Got a call from FNB CC Fraud Dept. and they asked did I authorize this?
I had to fill in a letter of dispute and fax it back.
Just want to know how long does this investigation last and when can I be expecting my money back?

Just watch out that the people who phoned you aren't the ones trying to scam you

Yeah, they usually phone me, if I make purchases over R500 from America or Europe.

Exactly -- cause if they got your card number, name, id and CCV number they can basically then use your details to make payments online... I never trust people that phone me and ask for details.. If the bank phones me they need to firstly provide me with some of my personal details before I will even speak to them.

I refuse to even speak to them if they phone me. I tell them that I don't trust the call and I'll phone the bank myself.

Any amount would be enough to set me off. Just a bit worrying that they did it in the first place... what will stop them from doing it again? I take it your details will now change (I hope so)
