Since I have HBC on, I got a media player for it and now I use it as a media center. Yes I know I can use my PS3 as a media player, but the PS3 is in my bedroom with my LCD TV, the Wii is in the living room with the SD TV.

[edit] LOL, I see plstk has the same setup as I do. Just do some googling, it works like a charm.
lol! Thanks, ill check it out. So just google "homebrew channel for wii" right?

Yeah, that should work. As long as you haven't updated to the latest firmware, it should be a breeze.

doubt mine is fully updated so will prob have to do that first. Out of curiosity- how do you get the files onto the wii? Can it read off a usb drive, like the PS3? What files are supported? Will this make my wii go kaboom?

I don't think you quite understand what Jevous is trying to say. You must NOT be on the latest Wii firmware for the Homebrew channel, so DO NOT try and update your Wii
